Terri Christensen Ph.D., Brings Additional Physician Leadership Expertise to the J3P Team!

J3P is pleased to announce that Terri Christensen, Ph.D., will be working with our team in the capacity of Senior Consultant for Physician Learning and Transformation.  She is responsible for ensuring that our educational workshops, training and content are relevant and effective.

“As we continue to deliver innovative, scalable, physician development projects, Dr. Christensen’s expertise will enhance our capabilities and maximize the positive impact that our work has on physicians, individually, and on health systems,” said Alan Friedman, M.A., Founder and CEO.

She will be supporting J3P’s work by developing new learning content, delivering live training and coaching physician leaders.  “I’m excited to join the J3P team.  They are doing important work that has a positive impact on quality of care, physician career success, engagement, and retention.  I’m particularly impressed with the manner in which they combine the science of behavior with practical, operational expertise that is meaningful for physicians and physician leaders.  It perfectly complements the work I’m doing through my firm, H&H Associates,” said Christensen.

Previously, she served asthe Vice President for Learning Innovation at Allegheny Health Network inPittsburgh, PA and the Executive Director of Physician Experience and Supportat the Cleveland Clinic. In both roles, she led physician on-boarding,leadership development, succession planning,  and coaching efforts, and the Physician LearningAcademy.

Most recently she was theSenior Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives and Health Affairs at NortheastOhio Medical University. In that role, she served as an internal consultant forcollege leaders in vetting strategic ideas, identifying growth opportunities,developing plans for key initiatives, and measuring initiative success.

Dr. Christensen earned her B.A. from The University of Pittsburgh, an M.S. from Bowling Green State University, and Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Kent State University.
